Welcome to Southern Appalachian Dance Center!
Southern Appalachian Dance Center is a new artistic hub for dancers of all ages to learn and grow in Southern Appalachia! Southern Appalachian Dance Collective, Southern Appalachian School for Dance, and classes tailored for various levels are housed in this state-of-the-art facility with an old-world ambiance. SADCenter is home to many of the area's most renowned instructors and choreographers, and a premier training ground for dancers. On any given day, one may take class alongside today's performers and seasoned veterans from performing companies like Roanoke Ballet Theatre, Barter Theatre, Charlottesville Ballet, Southern Appalachian Dance Collective, and more!

We are located right in the heart of downtown Abingdon! This is the perfect location for your dancer and you. Need something to do while you wait? Visit the Abingdon Commons and grab a coffee from Girl and the Raven. If you have other children to entertain, there's a park right next to us. Don't have dinner plans? Order something to take home from some of our wonderful local restaurants. There's truly something for everyone!
