SADA Student

Dress Code

All Southern Appalachian Dance Academy students should use the following guidelines to prepare for class! For individual level leotards and shoes, please click on your kiddo's level below for more information!

HAIR

Pre-Dance-L3: Hair off of neck and face (ponytail, bun, pigtails, etc.) L4-L6: Hair in neat ballet bun (pigtails or headband for shorter hair)

TIGHTS

Pre-Dance and L1-L3: NOT required to wear tights for class, however they will need tights for the Nutcracker and Spring Performance!

JEWELRY

Only small earrings or watches may be worn. Students are not permitted outside of the CBA building without street shoes on and clothes worn over dance wear.

Jazz/Contemporary: Students may wear black leather jazz shoes (optional), their class ballet shoes, or go barefoot

Pre-Dance: No dress code required-- any attire the dancer can easily move in paired with ballet shoes, socks, or barefoot!
